Day 18 Thurs Nov 1. Played in Castleisland at Prendeville’s from 5:30 – 9:00 (allegedly the best pint of Guinness in Eire) and Kearney’s 9-1:30.

Day 19  Friday Nov 2nd. Learned 4 new tunes with Jackie! Played at Browne’s in CI with Tom O’Connell -banjo, PJ Tierney – bouzouki, Niall O’Connor – box and Donal Cullinane fiddle.

Day 20 Saturday Nov 3rd. Drove from Kerry to Galway in the lashing rain. Stopped in Athenry to see Billie and Mary O’Connor. Also met John O’s brother and sister in law and Niece; Billie, Lisa and Lucy. Mary put out a wee snack which was a full meal and a half. Continued on to G way city and played w V and Peter Keelaghan at Padraig’s Place doing blues and  jazz.

Good blogging wha? Been having a mighty time. Highlights include seeing Graham Wells and Alisonn Chidley from Newfoundland in Limerick and the Patrick O’Keeffe Festival in CastleIsland and playing with Jackie Dan Gerry O’Connor . Driving from Galway City to Castleisland today for the annual Horse Fair. Who wants a pony now? More later, maybe…
